Nadine Sumithra has devoted more than three decades to teaching and mentoring children and teenagers in the truths of the Scripture. Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A:The imagery of eagles that flow through the Bible always encouraged me as a person. However, when we teach the Bible to children these such symbolisms are not touched upon as it is difficult to do so. So this idea of weaving a story on the life of eagles along with the imagery mentioned in the Bible that helps children know their God in a better way.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: This book is inspired by the imagery of eagles in the Bible. And this is an attempt to present the nature of God to children through a story. The book also contains real life facts of Golden Eagles thus helping children to understand the reason why God used this bird as an example in His Word.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: The title is simple – Urging one to find out why and how do two eagles fly in faith.
Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?
A: The character of the eagles depicts God’s protection, His purpose and His strength that are always with us.
Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?
A:The two eaglets not only learn just to fly but also recognize their true worth and strength.
Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?
A: It took me around 6 months to write and design the illustrations of this book.
Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?
A: Mainly from the Bible. The real life facts of the Golden Eagles from the internet.
Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?
A: Don’t give up, at whatever stage of writing are you in, pick up from where you last left. There is someone out there who needs to read what’s on your mind. You make the difference!
Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?
A: Language is very crucial, as writing involves not only putting down ones thoughts but also capable to touch lives. The more relatable is the style is language the deeper connection it has with the reader.
Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?
A: For an author, a book that truly touches lives becomes popular—and that popularity paves the way to its success.
Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?
A: Research is the key to authenticate your writing. Studying the Bible to present God’s heart to the children is crucial and corelating it to the characters real facts – here it was with the eagles lifestyle had to be precise as children will learn true facts in the life of eagles – Golden Eagles to be specific.
Q: Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?
A: Yes, it does. The cover decides whether a reader is compelled to pick up the book or simply skim past.

A: My second book I got it self published through Orange Books.
