Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: The author’s very first pet dog, Veera, was the inspiration behind Monasteries in the Wild. Through Veera’s unconditional love and soulful eyes, the author glimpsed the profound wisdom of the animal kingdom. This heartfelt connection sparked a lifelong journey to understand and celebrate the beauty, intelligence, and harmony of wildlife, ultimately culminating in the creation of this book.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Monasteries in the Wild takes readers on a transformative journey through the untamed wilderness, exploring the profound connection between animals, nature, and spirituality. This book challenges us to reflect on the wisdom of the animal kingdom—how they live contentedly in the present and instinctively ensure a thriving future for generations to come. Through vivid storytelling and heartfelt insights, it celebrates the silent wisdom of animals and their ability to teach us how to find joy and harmony in life. A tribute to the beauty of wildlife, this book invites readers to see the natural world in a whole new light.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title Monasteries in the Wild reflects a profound idea: monasteries aren’t just places for monks beneath sacred trees, but also exist in the untamed wilderness, where four-legged beings—animals—live as silent guardians of wisdom. These natural monasteries remind us that spirituality, harmony, and mindfulness are not exclusive to humans but are deeply ingrained in the animal kingdom as well.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A:Writing Monasteries in the Wild was a journey of discovery and reflection for the author. They learned to see animals not just as creatures of instinct but as beings filled with wisdom, love, and purpose. Through the process, they deepened their understanding of how animals live in harmony with nature, teaching humanity valuable lessons about happiness, coexistence, and preservation. The author also realized the profound interconnectedness of all life and how humanity can benefit from embracing the simplicity and mindfulness animals embody. This book became not just a story about wildlife but a personal transformation, reinforcing the importance of respecting and protecting the natural world.
