Keerthy Suresh, who recently tied the knot with Antony Thattil in a stunning Iyengar ceremony in Goa, has shared heartwarming pictures from her wedding on Instagram. What made the photos even more special for her fans was the presence of her “dream icon,” Thalapathy Vijay, who was seen blessing the newlyweds in both pictures.
Keerthy, who is soon making her Bollywood debut with the much-anticipated film Baby John, took to Instagram to share her joy. In the post, she wrote, “When our dream icon blessed us at our dream weddinggg! @actorvijay sir. With love, Your Nanbi and Nanban.” The pictures showcase the newlyweds in traditional wedding attire. Keerthy wore a beautiful yellow and green madisar, a traditional South Indian drape, and paired it with a side bun called the Aandal Kondai, adding to her elegance on the special day.
The actor and Vijay have shared the screen before, having worked together in the 2017 film Bairavaa and the 2018 hit Sarkar, making his presence at her wedding even more significant for Keerthy.
The wedding, which took place on December 12 in Goa, was a grand affair with several notable guests. Among the celebrities spotted were actor Trisha Krishnan, director Atlee, his wife Priya, and actress Kalyani Priyadarshan. Also present were Telugu actor Nani and his wife Anjana Yelavarthy, all of whom were there to witness the union of Keerthy and Antony, who have been in a relationship for 15 years.
Antony, a Dubai-based businessman from Kochi, reportedly owns a chain of resorts. The couple celebrated their love with two ceremonies: one a traditional Iyengar ceremony and the other a Christian ceremony.
On the professional front, Keerthy is gearing up for her Bollywood debut with Baby John, which stars Varun Dhawan and will hit theatres on December 25, just in time for Christmas.
