Odisha CPET Counselling 2024: Choice Filling Begins at samsodisha.gov.in, Apply By August 12 – News18

The Odisha Higher Education Department opened the Choice-Filling window for the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPET) Counselling 2024 today, August 6. Candidates who registered for the counselling process can fill up their preferences through the official website samsodisha.gov.in. The deadline to submit the choices is August 12.

The Odisha CPET 2024 Counselling process will be conducted in three rounds. The board will announce the seat allotment result for the first round of counselling on August 20. Candidates will be able to choose their preferred option — slide-up, freeze or float by August 24.

Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s preference, marks and availability. However, the seat allotment result for Round 2 and Round 3 will be announced on August 31 and September 10, respectively.

Candidates satisfied with the seats need to pay the academic fee via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal and report to their allotted institutes between August 21 to August 24 to complete the admission process

Step 1: Visit the official website, samsodisha.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the PG State-Wide Merit List Tab and click on it.

Step 3: Key in your login details such as Hall Ticket Number, Captcha and select a subject.

Step 4: Fill in your choices in decreasing order and save the form.

Step 5: Pay the fees and submit the form.
