Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:I was privileged to witness an event where whirling dervishes captivated us with their presence. The book’s premise originated from that one experience and the character of Solaymaan Dhagestani the whirling dervish led the story.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Through joy and regret, Solaymaan and Eira’s journey unfolds, a poignant testament to the enduring power of love and fate’s intricate design. It is a romantic novella about the love between a dervish and a rich heiress Eira. It’s a simple story led by the setting and the central character.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: In my writing, I am always inspired by real events, observations, memories, and interactions. These lead my writing process.

Q: How Many Books Have You Written? Which Is Your Favourite?

A: This would be my second book and although the first ‘Red’ is very close to my heart for the experiment it was. ‘The Dervish’ will be the one I enjoyed writing for I felt the words flow from within me and naturally.

Q:Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: My suggestion would be to keep writing more. The more you write the better you may get at it. I believe you don’t have to be perfect as long as you show sincerity in your work.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A:We’ve all grown up reading beautifully crafted books but if you feel you don’t measure up to that standard, don’t let it deter you from writing and showcasing your art. Keep writing with faith and sincerity.
