Blast-Like Sound Reported Near Radisson Hotel Close To Delhi Airport; Cops Find Nothing Suspicious

A blast-like sound was heard in Delhi’s Mahipalpur area near the Radisson Hotel today morning. The police said they found nothing suspicious.

Panic gripped Delhi’s Mahipalpur area on Thursday morning after reports of a blast-like sound near the Radisson Hotel.
According to officials from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), they received a call at nearly 9.18 am and immediately dispatched three fire tenders to the location.
Sources said a woman who heard the sound made the initial PCR call, following which police and fire officials rushed to the spot.
Delhi Police teams cordoned off the area and conducted a detailed inspection along with bomb disposal and fire personnel.
However, after a thorough search, authorities said that nothing suspicious was found in or around the hotel premises.
