About the Author:

S.k. Attri aka Shivam Kumar belongs to Aligarh, U.P. but he has done his schooling from Noida, U.P. He was not good in study but good in sports. He has won medal in India’s east zone judo championship. Since childhood, he loves to create fantasy world before sleeping and take himself as a main character in that world. It was his daily routine, he enjoyed in those dreams to this extent that he didn’t want to come out in real world. He left his engineering and went to writing field. He tried to approach many producers with his stories but got rejection. He didn’t loose his confidence. After that he decided if they don’t want to make a movie on his stories then he should write a book. Through this book he wants to take peoples on fascinating journey of Kalp.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:I love magic fantasy genre books a lot and harry potter series is my most favorite. After watching all the movies of harry potter i read its all the books . Then i decided that i should also write a fantasy story.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: This book is about an orphan boy name Kuldeep who is a brilliant scientist. After a breakthrough in his experiment, he is killed by his colleague. But he reincarnates in a body of 10 years old boy in the magical world. That boy name is Kalp. And in world he can’t do magic where magic is everything.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: Kalp means yug (Era)

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: This book is the first installment of Kalp series. You will know about this in last book.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: Korean and Japanese graphics novels, researching on internet, dreams and our Grantha.

Q:When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?

A: It’s my first book and i am 26 years old.

Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?

A:Writing a comedy scenes is the most difficult part for me in writing.

Q:What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A:Researching is the most important element of good writing. And you should know the backstory of every character.

Q:What Are Your Top 3 Books?

A:Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone, the beginning after the end and One piece.

Q:What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A:Don’t think too much just do it and go with a flow.
