Stuti Vinkle mentioned that she had passed her CAT exam with flying colours and enrolled in an MBA programme. However, she chose to opt out of the course after she was offered the role of Phooli.
Actress Stuti Vinkle, best known for her role as Phooli in Saajha Sindoor, recently talked about her journey in the entertainment industry. Stuti mentioned that she had passed her CAT exam with flying colours and enrolled in an MBA programme. However, she chose to opt out of the course after she was offered the role of Phooli. The actress further said that the love and appreciation that she has received for the role has made her satisfied with the decision.
“It was a tough decision, as I had cleared the CAT entrance exam with flying colours. However, I chose to follow my heart and focus on acting instead,” said Stuti as quoted by Etimes. The actress added, “With the kind of love and support I am receiving as Phooli, I and my family are very happy with the decision.”
In the same interaction, Stuti shared how and when she developed a passion for acting. She stated, “After my father changed my school in 9th grade, I discovered my passion for acting. Before that, I didn’t know much about theatre, but I was an enthusiastic kid who wanted to try everything—sports, dance, and any activities happening around me.”
Further, she narrated how she got her first-ever role in a theatre play. “When I found out there was a theatre play at my new school, I was eager to participate. At first, I wasn’t selected because only 16 students were chosen, and I was disappointed since I really wanted to be part of it, even though I had no acting experience. Luckily, they decided to take one extra student, and I was the 17th. Once I performed, I loved it and realised that acting was what I wanted to do,” she asserted.
After realising that acting is her calling, Stuti decided to talk to her family and things started falling into place. She mentioned, “After that, I spoke to my family about my passion for acting, and many things started happening that drew me further into the world of acting.”
Saajha Sindoor revolves around the marital journey of Phooli (Stuti Vinkle) and Gagan (portrayed by Sahil Uppal). The TV serial has captivated audiences with its intriguing storyline and the pair’s onscreen chemistry. It airs on Sun Neo from Monday to Saturday at 8 PM.
