Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:Whether we talk about this book or my other works, there is only one thing that inspires me and that is change. Through my books, I want to highlight the emotions that people feel every day but do not have words to express them. I want to be the voice of those people who are special despite being ordinary and face life every day.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Saagaun is a story that reveals the subtle difference between parents’ expectations and their selfish motives. It highlights society’s attitude, which associates parents’ rights with the dreams they have for their children but denies that those dreams are their unfulfilled aspirations. Sometimes, in the race to fulfil their desires, parents start playing with their children’s emotions and dreams, ultimately breaking their children from within and also weakening their relationship with them.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: Actually, very interesting question in respect of my book ‘Saagaun’. Now I leave it to you to decide what will happen next in this story but Deepak’s lost faith and broken spirit will be restored only when this society will give its thinking a chance to develop.

Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?

A: The most important and difficult part at the same time is being nonjudgmental about the characters. My stories are about those people who are not criminals or wrong, but their thinking develops a trend in the society that affects the lives of many people. In such a situation, it is very challenging to expose the flaws of that thinking without considering those characters wrong.

Q: What Are Your Top 3 Books?

A: My first book was ‘Medant’ then ‘Main Madhu’ got published in 2022 and ‘Saagaun’ is my third book. These are my top three books of my journey started in the year 2019 as a writer.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?

A: Society and the prevalent thought in the society provokes the idea of writing.
