About the Author:

Shahnaz zaidi is a storyteller with a mission- to bring the invisible into light and turn silence into powerful prose. Her debut novel, Baby’s Breath, was validated by Mental Health of America (MHA) as one of the finest works of fiction on autism, a testament to her deep empathy and commitment to meaningful narratives. Her following novels continued this path: Foxglove sheds light on kyphosis, a spinal condition often misunderstood or ignored, while Birds of Paradise explores the test of friendship during war, showing how bonds endure in the harshest of times. Shahnaz draws inspiration from the quiet strength of people around her, especially women who carry untold stories within them. With a background in education and a deep connection to human psychology, she writes not just to entertain, but to heal, educate and awaken.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: It’s a true story where I travelled in a general coach. Characters are fictional name to protect their identity.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The happening place is the ladies coach.
How characters kept coming and I read their story.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: Ladies Dabba is a ladies coach I attached to Lucknow Mumbai bound train.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Yes, some suggestions for future author

Write every day at least 200 words.
Research the topic on which you are writing.
Never underestimate yourself .
Read other authors. Be an avid reader of all genre.
Be positive and proud that you will be a published author one day.

Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?

A: Original with readers interest, the way they can relate to the character.
My novels are written in simple English with a Isi tube message.

Q:How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: On top priority.
We need go research the topic well.
See it’s facts to be facts. One cannot write anything wrong.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Never give up!
Everyone suffers from a writers block.
