Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim keep their fans entertained with their YouTube vlogs, often offering glimpses into their lives and the joys of parenting. As their son Ruhaan will turn 1 on June 21, the couple plans to celebrate the occasion. In their latest vlog, Shoaib and Dipika shared that while they won’t be throwing a lavish party for Ruhaan, they are planning something special to create lasting memories for their little one.

Shoaib said, “Aaj 13th bhi ho gayi hai aur 21 taareekh ko Ruhaan ka birthday hai, mujhe mera birthday ab yaad nahi rehta. (Today is already the 13th, and Ruhaan’s birthday is on the 21st, I don’t even remember my own birthday anymore.)”

He added, “Mujhe is baar genuinely khwaaish thi ki mujhe mera birthday nahi celebrate karna, excitement khatam ho gyi hai. Aur Ruhaan ke birthday ke liye humne socha ki kuch different style se celebrate karte hai. Jis tareeke se karte hai us tareeke se nahi kareinge. (This time, I genuinely didn’t want to celebrate my birthday; the excitement has faded. For Ruhaan’s birthday, we thought of celebrating it differently. We won’t do it in the usual way we celebrate.)”

Shoaib emphasised that it’s Ruhaan’s first birthday and they won’t organise a grand party because he believes that at this age, children don’t understand much. He pointed out that inviting a large crowd wouldn’t make sense if the child didn’t enjoy it. Instead, they plan to celebrate the special day in a unique and meaningful way. Dipika Kakar agreed with Shoaib. For those who may not know, both Shoaib and Ruhaan celebrate their birthdays in June. Ruhaan’s birthday falls on June 21, which is the day after his father Shoaib’s birthday on June 20. Last year, on Shoaib’s birthday, Dipika had to be taken to the hospital shortly after the dinner party.
