About the Author:

Surbhi Khandekar is a storyteller, emotional wellness explorer, and nature lover with a Master’s in Advanced Marketing. A full-time mother to a 2.5-year-old, she also runs her soulful candle startup, Anahata by Surbhi. In 2020, as the world turned inward, she deepened her spiritual study, finding meaning in silence, energy, and the unseen. Her writing reflects a search for truth, healing, and soulful connection. The Portal Be(TWIN) Us is her debut novel a gentle mirror of self-rediscovery. Surbhi believes stories are not crafted but remembered, and that healing often begins where words end in stillness.

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: My readings and learnings about soul frequencies, vibes and energies inspired me to write it.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: “The Portal Be(Twin) Us” is not just a love story it’s a journey of self-discovery, healing, and mirrored souls. Through silent connections and unseen threads, it reminds us that sometimes, in finding another, we return to ourselves.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: It means “The Medium “ between two souls those who carry same frequencies.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: It is continuous process to learn but specifically to this book I learnt how universe guides you when you seek. 

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Take the inspirations and ideas from better writes but go with your instinct while writing and do not lose the originality of your thought.

Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?

A: When writing in a flow sometimes you stumble upon tenses and it takes several times reading to make corrections and clarity of exact words to convey thought.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: Currently success for me is recognition as a good writer . Which will inspire me to write more.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: Research or day to day life experiences sometimes holds place in your heart which makes you think of better ways to live life.

Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?

A: Originality is key to uniqueness . Eventually readers will decide what they like.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: I really don’t concider myself that big to give advice but all i can say is our instinct guides us what is right for us and it’s mostly correct if we believe in signs that we get.
