UP Police Recruitment 2026: Application Begins For 32,679 Vacancies, Check Details

The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced openings for constable positions in the police, PAC, UP SSF, jail warder, and mounted police. The UP Police will be recruiting for 32,679 vacant constable posts. According to the notification, there will be 10,469 posts for both male and female candidates in the civil police, 15,131 vacancies for men in the PAC, and 1,341 vacancies for male candidates in the UPSSF.

Online applications for this recruitment began on December 31, 2025, and will conclude on January 30, 2026. Interested candidates can apply through the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s website, uppbpb.gov.in. Registration through the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board’s One-Time Registration (OTR) system is mandatory before applying.

As per the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, 2,282 female candidates will be recruited for the PAC Women’s Battalions in Lucknow, Badaun, and Gorakhpur. Additionally, there are 106 vacancies for female jail warders. The notification also states that there are 71 vacancies for male candidates in the mounted police and 3,279 for male jail warders.

UP Police Recruitment 2026: Age Limit

The age limit for male candidates is 18 to 22 years and for female candidates is 18 to 25 years. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per rules.
