Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: I was inspired by the quiet but profound moments in life when a simple “I’m sorry” changed everything. Personally, I’ve experienced the power of apology in relationships, both given and received. After years of working with communities, creators, and people sharing their stories with me, I realized how many of us struggle to say sorry. This book was born from a desire to explore that struggle—and offer hope.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Just Say Sorry is a heartfelt exploration of the power of apology in our lives. Through real-life stories, reflections, and personal experiences, the book guides readers through the emotional impact of saying sorry in different contexts—at home, with friends, at work, and even to ourselves. It’s not just about the act of apologizing, but about reclaiming connection, vulnerability, and empathy.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title Just Say Sorry is a call to action. It’s simple, direct, yet layered. It reminds us that sometimes, all it takes to begin healing is to say those two words—genuinely. It’s about letting go of ego and fear and embracing the strength in vulnerability.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Writing this book taught me that the most powerful words are often the hardest to say. I learned that apology is not a weakness—it’s a strength rooted in self-awareness. I also discovered how universal our need for understanding is, and that healing begins with the courage to be honest, with others and with ourselves.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: Since the book is non-fiction and the stories are inspired by real experiences, I believe the people behind these stories continued their journeys—with a bit more softness in their hearts. Some found peace through apology, others found clarity, and many are still learning. The beauty of these stories is that they reflect all of us—we’re all still becoming.

Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?

A: This book took me several months, not just in terms of writing but also reflecting deeply on the emotions behind each story. The writing process was intertwined with moments of personal growth, so it felt less like ticking off pages and more like evolving with the words.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: My ideas come from real life—conversations with people, my own experiences, and the emotions we all carry. For Just Say Sorry, I drew from stories shared by friends, readers, and even strangers about the impact of apologies they gave or never received.

Q: Tell Us About Your First Published Book? What Was The Journey Like?

A: The journey was incredibly personal. Just Say Sorry was born from years of reflection, conversations, and moments where I saw how powerful a heartfelt apology could be. Publishing it was both exciting and humbling—knowing it was finally out in the world to help others.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: Research is important, especially when dealing with human emotions and stories. For this book, my research came from listening—conversations, shared experiences, and reading about relationships and healing. Real emotions need real understanding.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Write with honesty. Don’t wait for the perfect time or perfect words—start where you are. Your unique voice matters, and someone out there needs to hear your story just the way only you can tell it.
