Varun Sharma, who plays the role of Choocha in this hit franchise, had shared an anecdote about his character and told ETimes, “Choocha has changed my life, that character has given me everything that I have today. The biggest challenge for an actor today is to have acceptance from the audience and for me it happened in my very first film. So my maternal grandparent’s home is in Ghaziabad, and my cousin sent me a picture of a small barber shop from there. So in barber shops, the owner usually puts up pictures of movie stars and in there, they had put up a photo of Choocha and it gave me so much joy. For a kid who grew up in the 90s, it is a big thing to have your picture put up.”
