On June 9, 2024, the makers of the upcoming film ‘Kalki 2898 AD‘ revealed the first-look poster featuring Deepika Padukone. Her husband Ranveer Singh took to social media to unveil the poster and express his profound admiration for the actress. Referring to Deepika as the “queen of the big screen,” Singh conveyed his affection for his wife.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a star-studded science fiction venture featuring renowned actors such as Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and more. The plot revolves around Kalki, the mysterious tenth and ultimate avatar of the Hindu god Lord Vishnu. Alongside the lead cast, the ensemble includes prominent actors like Pasupathy, Rajendra Prasad, Anna Ben, Chemban Vinod Jose, Saswata Chatterjee, among others, essaying pivotal roles in the film.
The movie was written and directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C. Aswini Dutt’s Vyjayanthi Movies. Santhosh Narayanan has been assigned to compose the music for this science fiction thriller. It is scheduled to release in theaters on June 27, 2024.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, co-starring alongside Alia Bhatt.
