Set in the golden era of Indian Intelligence Agencies with the rise of R&AW, the film will have international shoots followed by schedules in India and the UAE. Ranveer is excited about this new venture with director Aditya Dhar. Sanjay Dutt will play the antagonist, while Ranveer, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal will be part of the Indian Intelligence System. An official announcement is expected soon.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is currently filming for Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated ‘Ramayana’, where he stars as Ram, with Sai Pallavi playing Sita. Recent leaked photos from the set show the actors in their respective roles. The film also features KGF star Yash as Ravana, Arun Govil as Dashrath, and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. There’s speculation that Sunny Deol might be cast as Hanuman, though this has not been officially confirmed yet.
The release date for ‘Ramayana’ hasn’t been set yet. Trade analyst Sumit Kadel suggests the film might come out in 2027. So, fans might have to wait few more years to see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram.
