‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ box office collection day 8: The Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan starrer mints Rs 167 crore by the end of its first week | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ clashed with the biggie ‘Singham Again‘ which had an ensemble cast boasting of Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. During the initial few days, when it released on November 1, ‘Singham Again’ had a slight lead over ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, though the latter gave it a really tough competition.
But during the weekdays, from Wednesday onwards, BB3 started showing growth and had a slight edge over ‘Singham Again’ as the collections of the latter kept seeing a gradual dip. On Friday, which was day 8, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ made Rs 9 crore at the box office, according to Sacnilk.
Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ made Rs 7.5 crore. The total collection of BB3 so far, is Rs 167.25 crore. This is a very good number as ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2‘ had made Rs 181 crore net as a lifetime business. So, the third installment will definitely end up crossing the lifetime business of the sequel.
Meanwhile, the week 1 collection of ‘Singham Again’ is Rs 180.5 crore so far, which is more than ‘BB 3’ but an even bigger number was expected as the movie is mounted on a much higher budget. Now the second Saturday and Sunday numbers of both the movies will further decide their fate. There are no new releases this week which can give competition to both these films. So, there can be a growth during the weekend which is only good for both the movies.
