Biden, Trump to meet at White House on Wednesday – Times of India

US President-elect Donald Trump has accepted an invitation from US President Joe Biden for a meeting at the White House on Wednesday, White House spokesperson said on Saturday.
Following his victory over vice president Kamala Harris in the November 5 presidential election, Trump is set to assume office on January 20.
“At President Biden’s invitation, President Biden and President-elect Trump will meet in the Oval Office on Wednesday,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement.
After a poor performance in a debate against Trump, Biden withdrew from his re-election campaign in July.
