Nuh police on Sunday night exhumed a fetus in Maroda village of the district, days after the wife of one of the accused in the Bhiwani deaths case alleged she was forced to abort as Rajasthan cops barged into their house and threw her to the ground, reports Bhaskar Mukherjee.
Shri Kant is believed to be part of the cow vigilante group, led by Monu Manesar, which is active in the Sohna-Nuh-Alwar belt. The two of them are among the five booked for the abduction of Junaid and Nasir, residents of Bharatpur in Rajasthan who whose charred bodies were found inside a burnt Bolero in Bhiwani on February 16. According to Shri Kant’s mother, around 30 men in police uniform had barged into their house in Nuh’s Nagina and thrashed the family members on February 17. They allegedly shoved Kamlesh, who was nine months pregnant, which led to the fall that caused the miscarriage.
