Now, Air India San Francisco-Mumbai nonstop flight cancelled due to snag | India News – Times of India
NEW DELHI: Now, a technical snag grounded an Air India Boeing 777 in San Francisco (SFO) which was to fly to Mumbai on Thursday.
Two days back, the airline’s Delhi-SFO nonstop had diverted to Magadan in Russia following an engine snag.
Regarding the latest snag, AI said: “Air India flight AI180, scheduled to operate from SFO to Mumbai on June 8, 2023, was cancelled due to an unforeseen technical issue. Affected guests have been offered the option of alternative flights or full refund for the cancelled flight. We will also reimburse all expenses that our guests may incur towards hotel accommodation and transportation until they take flight. Air India regrets the disruption to our guests’ travel plans and the inconvenience. The safety of our guests and staff will remain our top-most priority.”
