Senthil Balaji News: ED conducts searches on TN minister’s associates, sand mining contractors | Chennai News – Times of India

CHENNAI: In two different and simultaneous searches, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday targeted people associated with Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji as well as sand mining contractors of the public works department.
While searches in connection with Senthil Balaji was carried out in around 10 places in Chennai and Trichy, premises of sand mining contractors and quarry owners in Pudukottai and Dindigul were also subjected to searches.
The locations where the searches started since morning were protected by armed CRPF personnel.
In Chennai, searches are under way in Anna Nagar, Mogappair and Teynampet.
The Enforcement Directorate has not yet issued any official statement about the searches.
