‘Missed mother’s last rites as Indira govt denied parole’ | India News – Times of India

Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the then Congress govt under late Indira Gandhi had kept him away from his mother’s cremation. “Congress keeps crying foul about democracy, but let me remind them that my mother passed away when the Congress govt put me in jail during the Emergency. I was denied parole to attend her last rites,” he told ANI.
