When it comes to acting, Mrunal Thakur has carved her niche. And when it comes to fashion, her simple and comfortable style feels truly relatable. Recently, the actress was spotted leaving a cafe in Mumbai, enjoying some downtime with a friend. Videos and photos from her outing are now doing rounds online. As always, Mrunal turned heads with her effortlessly chic yet comfortable look.

For the outing, The Family Star actress chose to look cool in a green kurta paired with black pyjamas. Though she didn’t stop to pose, Mrunal warmly interacted with the paparazzi and flashed her signature smile before leaving.

Keeping her look simple, she opted for minimal makeup, a small maroon handbag and black sunglasses instead of heavy accessories. Her loose, flowing hair added to the relaxed vibe of her outfit.

In a previous conversation with Galatta Plus, Mrunal Thakur shared her thoughts on celebrity fashion. She feels that spending a huge amount on clothes is unnecessary since “you’re not going to wear them again.”

Interestingly, she revealed that her outfit for the interview was borrowed.

She said, “These aren’t my clothes; I’ve just sourced them. The most I’ve ever spent on a top is around Rs 2000, that’s it. Even that, I feel, is too much because expensive clothes can’t be worn repeatedly. Having a few classic statement pieces in your wardrobe is great, but wearing a brand just for the sake of it feels like a waste of money. I’d rather invest that money in food, plants, or even land where I can farm. You know what I mean?”

Mrunal Thakur, who recently wowed audiences in Hi Nanna, Family Star, Sita Ramam and Kalki 2898 AD, has several exciting projects lined up. She is set to appear in Pooja Meri Jaan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Son of Sardar 2 and Dacoit.
