BTS’ Jungkook and SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu once again proved why they’re among K-pop’s most adored best friends. The duo, who share a close bond as part of the famous ‘97 liners’ friend group, gave fans a sweet surprise when Jungkook unexpectedly joined Mingyu’s Instagram livestream with S.Coups.

Jungkook Surprises Mingyu On Live

During a CXM (Mingyu and S.Coups’ unit name) livestream, Jungkook popped into the chat, catching the SEVENTEEN members completely off guard. “How did you even find this live?” Mingyu asked, laughing nervously as Jungkook dropped playful comments. The BTS star congratulated him on his upcoming North American tour, while Mingyu joked about feeling “uncomfortable” knowing his real-life friend was watching.

The casual banter quickly turned into a fun, light-hearted exchange that sent fans into a frenzy. The pair chatted about time zones, future livestreams, and upcoming dance challenges, with Mingyu reading a fan’s request for the two to film the viral “5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman)” challenge together. Without hesitation, Jungkook replied that he was ready “anytime.”

‘Love You Dude,’ Says Jungkook

Before logging off, Jungkook bid farewell to SEVENTEEN’s fans, apologizing for interrupting their livestream. But just before leaving, he dropped a line that melted the internet: “Love you dude.” Mingyu laughed out loud and responded, “Let’s hang out soon — and do that livestream together!” Fans flooded the chat with hearts, declaring it one of the most wholesome cross-group moments of the year.

K-pop’s Most Powerful Friend Squad

Jungkook and Mingyu are part of the well-known ‘97 liners’ — a friend circle including GOT7’s BamBam and Yugyeom, SEVENTEEN’s DK and The8, NCT’s Jaehyun, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, and Stray Kids’ Bang Chan. The group often hangs out off-camera, but every rare interaction between them is enough to set the internet on fire.
