Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: The inspiration came from imagining what it means to be human when stripped away from the comfort of our home planet. I wanted to explore resilience, friendship and the clash of survival instincts against trust in a hostile world.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: At its heart, The Crimson Caper is about finding friendship and hope in the unlikeliest of places.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title “The Crimson Caper” reflects both the red Martian landscape and the daring, almost reckless adventure that Vihaan stumbles into.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Writing The Crimson Caper taught me that survival stories are never just about endurance, they are about connection. I learned how hope thrives even in isolation, how trust can mend fear, and how friendships can become lifelines stronger than blood.

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A: Vihaan wasn’t modelled after a single real person, but rather inspired by traits I’ve seen in many curious, restless kids. His mix of innocence, courage, and impulsiveness mirrors how young dreamers often act – leaping before thinking, but driven by boundless wonder.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: Their victory was only the beginning. New challenges wait just beyond the horizon. The Crimson Caper isn’t over, it’s only paused.
