UFC Freedom 250: Full Fight Card For White House Event Revealed

Dana White and UFC revealed the UFC Freedom 260 fight card at the White House on June 14, with Topuria vs. Gaethje and Pereira vs. Gane.

CEO and president of Ultimate Fighting Championship, Dana White, and the UFC unveiled the fight card on Saturday, March 7, after his promise that the June 14 event at the White House would be the greatest ever. The announcement was made during UFC 326.
The event has been named UFC Freedom 260.
The featured bouts at UFC Freedom 250 include:
Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje- lightweight championship unification fight
Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane – interim heavyweight championship fight
Sean O’Malley vs. Aimann Zahabi – bantamweight fight
Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler – lightweight fight
Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus – middleweight fight
Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia – featherweight fight
Meanwhile, White revealed that officials stayed up all night finalising the fight card for the event.
“It is done. We are ready to roll. Here we come, Washington DC,” White said on the UFC 326 broadcast.
The event is scheduled to take place on US President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday and will be held on the South Lawn of the White House. The temporary setup is expected to accommodate around 5,000 spectators.
White described the Topuria-Gaethje lightweight unification bout headlining the card as ‘explosive’. In addition to that fight, the event will feature Pereira aiming to become a three-division champion.
Last year, White revealed on Logan Paul’s podcast that the White House event was suggested by Donald Trump.
“I did not ask; he brought it up to me. When you walk around the White House with him, he is so proud of the White House and he loves it so much and he loves America. He believes that the White House belongs to the people of America,” White said while speaking on Impaulsive.
“He wants to do more things like kids coming in doing Easter egg hunts, things around Christmas and special events. … That is his thing. He wants to bring more Americans to the White House,” White added.
