Falta election result LIVE: Debangshu Panda of BJP leading

Live vote count and election result updates of 144. Falta Assembly constituency in the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections. There are a total of six candidates contesting for this seat: Jahangir Khan (TMC), Debangshu Panda (BJP), Abdur Razzak Molla (INC), Sambhu Nath Kurmi (CPIM), Dip Hati (IND), and Chandrakanta Roy (IND).

In the 2021 Assembly elections, Sankar Kumar Naskar of TMC won this seat defeating Bidhan Parui of BJP by a margin of 40,774 votes. Falta reported a voter turnout of 88.78% in the 2026 elections, while it was 87.2% in 2021. Following the Election Commission’s order for fresh polling across all booths, voting in the Falta constituency was held again on May 21, 2026, while counting of votes is taking place on May 24, 2026.
