Patna: Shots fired outside Khan Sir’s coaching centre; rivalry angle suspected

NEW DELHI: Shots were fired outside the coaching institute of educator Khan Sir in Patna on Tuesday.A security guard was injured in the incident and rushed to the hospital, news agency ANI reported.According to officials, the incident is suspected to be linked to an alleged rivalry between operators of coaching institutes in the area.“This is a case involving physical assault. It has been reported that the guard sustained injuries. Therefore, further action is being taken by recording his statement as well as the statements of local people,” Patna SSP Kartikeya K Sharma said.“The injured individual is currently undergoing treatment,” he added.
