MV Electrosystems IPO Listing: MV Electrosystems Ltd made a strong market debut on Thursday. In the pre-open session, its shares were listed at Rs 520 apiece on the NSE, which is a 22.35 per cent premium over the issue price of Rs 425. This is in line with what the grey market premium indicated.
However, after the listing, the stock surged to 583 per cent, which is a 36.9 per cent gain for IPO investors.
On the BSE, the stock was listed at a premium of nearly 22 per cent at Rs 519. It has extended its gain to currently trade at Rs 583.
Currently, its market capitalisation stood at Rs 1,579.4 crore.
Ahead of the listing, its grey market premium (GMP) had stood at around 25% on Thursday.

Shivani Nyati, head of wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd, said, “MV Electrosystems delivered a strong listing with a 22% premium, indicating positive investor sentiment. However, the company reported weak FY26 performance, with revenue declining around 21% YoY and a net loss of Rs 12.6 crore.”
She added that the investment story now depends on improving execution and returning to profitable growth. “Allotted investors can consider booking partial profits and hold the remaining position with a stop-loss of Rs 470, while fresh investors should wait for consistent operational performance before entering,” Nyati said.
The Rs 290-crore mainboard IPO was open for public subscription between July 30 and August 3. It received a whopping 200.66x subscription, garnering bids for 75,30,51,278 shares as against the 37,52,942 shares on offer. Its retail category has received a 218.25x subscription, while the non-institutional investor (NII) category received a 397.99x subscription. The QIB category received a 96.13x subscription.
