4 CISF personnel killed in fratricide incident in J&K’s Kathua

NEW DELHI: At least four Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, including an assistant commandant, were killed in a fratricide incident at a power project in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Kathua district on Tuesday, as news agency PTI cited officials.The CISF personnel were deployed to guard the Sewa-III power project at Mashka village in Basohli, near the Himachal Pradesh border.According to officials, an argument broke out between two CISF personnel over some issue, following which one of them opened indiscriminate fire on colleagues.Four personnel were killed in the firing, they said.Senior officers have rushed to the spot and further details are awaited.
