AAJ KA PANCHANG, OCTOBER 16, 2023: The Dwitiya Tithi and Tritiya Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed on Monday, October 16 according to Drik Panchang. Shukla Dwitiya and Shukla Tritiya are considered lucky for various auspicious activities. Therefore, they are included in shubh muhurat timings. Hindus will observe the festival, Chandra Darshana on this very day.
Chandra Darshan is the day when people see the moon for the first time after the new moon. In Hinduism, the new moon day is called Amavasya, and seeing the moon after this day holds religious importance. People fast throughout the day and only break their fast when they spot the new moon on Chandra Darshan day.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON OCTOBER 16
The sun is slated to rise around 6:22 AM, while it is predicted to set around 5:51 PM. The moonrise is slated around 7:39 AM and it is anticipated to set around 6:45 PM.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR OCTOBER 16
The Dwitiya Tithi is set to continue until 1:13 AM on October 17, after which it will be succeeded by Tritiya Tithi. The auspicious Nakshatra Swati is expected to persist until 7:35 PM, at which point another favorable Nakshatra, Vishakha, will commence. The moon is predicted to be in Tula Rashi (Libra), while the sun is expected to be in Kanya Rashi (Virgo).

The Gulikai Kalam is predicted to occur between 1:33 PM and 02:59 PM. The Varjyam Muhurat is anticipated to occur from 1:24 AM to 3:04 AM on October 17. The Baana muhurta shows the presence of Mrityu which will persist until 1:31 AM on October 17. Subsequently, Agni will initiate at 1:31 AM on October 17 and last throughout the night.
