A: Yes and no. The characters symbolize deeper truths: Professor Madhav subtly mirrors the timeless figure of Krishna, an enlightened guide who reappears in every age to reawaken consciousness and restore balance. Bharat reflects India, a nation rediscovering its own spiritual-economic legacy after centuries of ideological colonization. A: The writing itself took months, but the thinking took years. Vedantonomics is not just a story- it’s a lifetime of observations, debates, failures, and reflections distilled into words.

A: I draw from three streams: Vedic texts – Bhagavad Gita, Mahabharata, Upanishads, Manusmriti, Arthashastra Modern economic history – financial crises, policy debates, corporate case studies Real conversations with economists/ consultants at my work place, monks, entrepreneurs, and everyday people It’s where ancient rivers meet modern currents that I find my stories.
