Anita Hassanandani has gained significant recognition on television with her roles in shows like Kkavyanjali, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii and Kohi Apna Sa during the early 2000s. She became a prominent TV star after her appearances in many of Ekta Kapoor’s popular shows of that time. In a recent interview, she discussed the career sacrifices she made for the sake of her romantic relationships. The actress had once grabbed the headlines with her relationship with Eijaz Khan. Their romance was the talk of the town, but it eventually ended, leaving fans disappointed.

Years later, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Naagin actor has opened up about it in detail, especially regarding the career decisions she took. When asked about her regrets regarding her relationship with Eijaz, Anita admitted, “I learnt a lot. I became a better person. I think we were just two very good people, not good for each other. The only thing I regret is that I let go of my prime career. I was offered Varsham, it was a big Tamil hit. I didn’t do it.”

Anita elaborated that while Eijaz never discouraged her from advancing her career, she made the decision not to take on the role. “I just didn’t want to do it because I wasn’t sure if he was okay with it, he didn’t stop me. But because I wanted to overdo the relationship, so I made the wrong career moves,” she explained.

Reflecting on her regrets, Anita shared, “Other than that no regrets, that’s life. Heartbreaks, breakups whatever it is you learn from every relationship. Today whoever we are is because of what we have seen in the past. So no regrets at it.”

Today, Anita Hassanandani is happily married to actor Rohit Reddy. The couple tied the knot in Goa in 2013, surrounded by family and friends. They announced their pregnancy on social media in October 2020, and welcomed their son, Aaravv, in February 2021.

On the other hand, Eijaz Khan was previously involved with actress Pavvitra Puniya. Their relationship blossomed during their time on the reality show Bigg Boss 14 and continued after the show, leading to their engagement. However, the couple eventually went their separate ways due to unspecified reasons.
