Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: My inspiration for writing The Ocean of Darkness and Light stems from my personal journey through depression and my gradual shift toward spirituality. I wanted to create a guide for others who may feel lost, stuck in darkness, or disconnected from themselves. The book reflects my belief that understanding life’s deeper aspects through spirituality can be a powerful path to healing, self-discovery, and peace. It’s not just a story; it’s a bridge I hope others can use to navigate their own challenges and transform them into growth and enlightenment.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The book explores the profound journey from the depths of despair to the heights of spiritual awakening. It begins by delving into the experience of depression—what it feels like to be trapped in darkness, isolated, and overwhelmed by pain. Through raw, relatable narratives, it acknowledges the struggles many face when trying to make sense of their suffering. As the book progresses, it shifts toward hope, guiding readers to explore the power of spirituality as a tool for healing. Drawing from personal experiences, this book serves as a guiding light for people who went into dark for too long in their lives.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title The Ocean of Darkness and Light symbolizes the duality of life and the transformative journey from despair to hope. Here’s what it represents: 1. The Ocean • The ocean is vast, deep, and mysterious, much like our inner world. It reflects the unpredictable waves of emotions, challenges, and experiences that we navigate in life. • It also symbolizes resilience and depth, reminding us that beneath the surface lies immense strength and clarity. 2. Darkness • Darkness represents struggles like depression, fear, confusion, and pain—the times when life feels overwhelming and directionless. • It’s also a metaphor for the unknown, where we confront our deepest fears and learn to grow through them. 3. Light • Light symbolizes hope, healing, awareness, and spiritual awakening. • It’s the clarity and peace we find when we embrace our struggles and connect with something greater—whether that’s self-love, purpose, or a higher power.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A:Writing The Ocean of Darkness and Light taught me a great deal about myself, the healing process, and the journey of transformation. Here are some key lessons: 1. Healing Is Not Linear As I revisited moments of darkness, I realized that healing doesn’t happen in a straight line. It’s a process of ups and downs, and that’s okay. Acknowledging this helped me embrace the imperfections of growth. 2. The Power of Vulnerability Writing honestly about my struggles forced me to be vulnerable, which was both challenging and liberating. It showed me that true strength comes from facing and sharing our deepest truths. 3. Spirituality Is Personal While spirituality can be a universal path, everyone’s journey is unique. Writing this book helped me better understand my own spiritual beliefs and how they can be shared without imposing them on others. 4. Writing Is Healing Putting my thoughts and experiences into words became a therapeutic process. It helped me make sense of my emotions, and I realized that writing can be a powerful tool for self-reflection and growth. 5. Connection Through Shared Struggles Writing the book reminded me how interconnected we are. No matter how isolating depression feels, many people go through similar challenges. I learned that sharing these experiences creates a space for others to feel seen and supported. 6. Light Is Always Present Reflecting on my journey showed me that even in the darkest moments, there’s always a spark of light—be it hope, resilience, or love. The key is to trust that it exists and keep moving toward it.

Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?

A: I was 24, right now 25. When I wrote my first book.

Q: What Are Your Top 3 Books?

A: The spanda Karikas, The shiv sutras, The ocean of darkness and light.
