Isha Malviya has been dominating headlines ever since she stepped into the Bigg Boss 17 house. From the war of words with co-contestants to the ugly spat with her alleged former boyfriend Abhishek Kumar, the Udaariyaan actress is currently having a challenging time in the competition. While Isha and Abhishek had a heated argument on the first day of the show, before entering the Bigg Boss house, Isha has denied being in a relationship with Abhishek. She had claimed that they were just close friends.

In an interview with The Indian Express, before entering Bigg Boss 17 Isha had said, “I don’t know if he’s going to be there and I am not bothered about it. There were rumours about us dating, but we have always shared a close friendship bond. It would be fun to have him around, but he was never my boyfriend. We haven’t even been in touch for a long time.”

In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 17, Abhishek was seen talking about his relationship with Munawar Faruqui. “I keep thinking, why we fell apart and if we were separated, why destiny got us together under one roof. I even told her ‘give 10 years to your career and then marry me. I’m ready to marry her. I like her so much,” said Abhishek. Abhishek and Isha both worked in Udaariyaan

When asked about her participation in the popular reality show, Isha said that the concept of showing her real self to a large audience “interested” the actress. She added, “I understand everyone has a different perspective. There were many people who said this was not the right time for me to do the show. But I believe if you are getting the opportunity to be in the limelight and get amazing exposure, why not?”

Isha rose to fame after her performance in the show Udaariyaan, where she co-starred with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Ankit Gupta. The two were part of the show last season, and Isha stated that her participation in Bigg Boss 17 was slightly inspired by them. But she added, “But then we are both very different personalities. I cannot ape her but yes, she had an amazing journey. I was actually inspired by how Priyanka conducted herself in the show.” Isha mentioned that she is good friends with Priyanka but did not ask for any advice to survive the show.
