Bypolls Election Result Uttar Pradesh: The Meerapur, Kundarki, Sisamau, Katehari, Phulpur, Majhawan, Ghaziabad, Karhal and Khair seats went to polls on November 20.

In the high-stakes Uttar Pradesh by-polls, the results for all nine assembly constituencies will be announced on Saturday, November 23.
The Meerapur, Kundarki, Sisamau, Katehari, Phulpur, Majhawan, Ghaziabad, Karhal and Khair seats went to polls on November 20, with both key parties- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Samajwadi Party (SP), optimistic about victory.
The by-polls are being seen as the first face-to-face electoral battle between the BJP and its political rivals since the Lok Sabha elections, with all parties aiming to set the narrative for the 2027 assembly elections.
The ruling BJP faced a major setback in the Lok Sabha polls and now eyeing to make a comeback in the by-elections. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party threw a surprise with their stunning performance in the Lok Sabha.
