Sonam Wangchuk Jantar Mantar Protest In Delhi Live Updates: Activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his 26-day hunger strike after what he described as “long negotiations” and concerns over the possibility of violence in the country.

Wangchuk broke his fast shortly after midnight on Thursday at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, Haryana. Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh were present as he ended the fast, with his wife, Gitanjali, by his side.

Meanwhile, in a late-night post on X, PM Modi shared a video message titled, ‘More strict actions against paper leaks to come in tomorrow’s Cabinet!’ “The paper leak is not an ordinary issue. It is a painful issue for lakhs of students and their parents,” the Prime Minister said.

The CJP has been staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar since last month, demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and a complete overhaul of the education system.
