Dheeraj Dhoopar’s eviction from Lock Upp Season 2 has left his fans shocked. Following his exit from the show, the actor spoke to the media and, while answering questions, made a big statement. When asked why he didn’t pick fights, Dheeraj Dhoopar, while answering the question, subtly referred to Shivangi Joshi as Harshad Chopda’s girlfriend and Akanksha Chaudhary as Yogesh Rawat’s girlfriend.
In an interview with Access TV, Dheeraj Dhoopar explained, “Maine yaha game khelne nahi aaya hoon, game change karne aaya hoon.” He further continued, “Yogesh ko maine evict kiya kyunki mere paas power thi. Akanksha Choudhary ko aa ke mere se ladna chahiye tha. Harshad ko agar I was the one who voted him out, to Shivangi ko aa kar ladna chahiye tha. Agar unki girlfriends aa ke mujhse nahi ladengi, to main ja ke unse jabardasti nahi ladunga na.”
Later, when a media person said that it looked like Harshad was madly in love with Shivangi, Dheeraj said, “To wo jo dikh raha hai, wahi hoga phir.”

Lock Upp 2 recently saw an emotional reunion when Dheeraj Dhoopar met his son, Zayn, inside the jail. The moment, however, soon turned controversial after host Riteish Deshmukh flagged it as a suspected violation of the show’s rules. Dheeraj was warned by Riteish over allegations that he received chits from his family.
In a video shared on social media, Vinny clarified that the message she sent had nothing to do with the game or any strategy. She said she had only checked on Dheeraj’s well-being, asking him to signal if he wasn’t okay, and encouraged him to play more actively if he was. “There was no outside information, no strategy, nothing like that. It was just a wife concerned about her husband,” she said. She added that she made an “emotional mistake”.
