Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: During my postgraduate training, I realized that students spent countless hours searching through multiple standard textbooks just to answer a single university question. I wanted to bridge that gap by creating an exam-oriented guide that combines authentic content with the expectations of university examiners. My goal was to save students time without compromising scientific accuracy.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Integrated Textbook of Biochemistry: Exam Preparatory Guide for Postgraduates is a two-volume hardbound reference designed specifically for MD Biochemistry residents. It contains detailed answers to university questions from the last ten years, presented in a structured, high-yield format integrated with concepts from standard textbooks.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title reflects exactly what the book is. “Integrated” signifies that it combines knowledge from multiple standard textbooks into one cohesive resource, while “Exam Preparatory Guide” emphasizes its purpose of helping postgraduate students prepare efficiently for university examinations.

Q: How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?

A: This book took me more than a year to complete. Every answer was researched, written, revised, and cross-checked with standard textbooks and previous university papers to ensure both accuracy and exam relevance.

Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Write with your readers in mind. Focus on clarity rather than complexity, verify every fact, revise relentlessly, and accept constructive criticism. Consistency matters more than inspiration.

Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: Accuracy, clarity, logical organization, simplicity, and credibility. Scientific writing should make complex concepts easier to understand without sacrificing precision.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?

A: The best ideas come from real educational challenges. Every time students repeatedly struggle with the same concept or examination pattern, I see an opportunity to create a better learning resource.
