Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants IPL Match Today: Kolkata Knight Riders are set to face Lucknow Super Giants in their fifth match of IPL 2025 on Tuesday (April 8) evening. The match No. 21 of IPL 2025 is scheduled to take place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. KKR are keen to continue their winning run after securing a big win by 80 runs over Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday (April 3). Their bowlers dominated the match, with Vaibhav Arora and Varun Chakravarthy each picking three wickets. KKR batted first and posted 200, riding on valuable contributions by Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Venkatesh Iyer. In response, SRH were bundled out for 120. Andre Russell also impressed with his variations in the middle overs and took two important wickets.
Lucknow Super Giants are also brimming with confidence after beating Mumbai Indians in the last IPL fixture. Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram gave LSG a blistering start, with each scoring a half-century. David Miller contributed with an impactful cameo as Lucknow wrapped up their innings with 203 runs. Mumbai made some good efforts with the bat but ended up losing the high-scoring game by 12 runs.

The pitch at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens has mostly been favourable for batters in recent times. The wicket, however, may come in handy for pacers bowling with the new ball.
