Bollywood director Kunal Kohli has a simple suggestion for Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe amid the department’s ongoing food safety checks that are making headlines. He wants the drive to move beyond restaurants and food outlets and reach every Indian household, where forgotten food packets and bottles may have been sitting on kitchen shelves and in refrigerators for years.
