Exclusive interview with the author
Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?
A: I never planned to write this book. I thought why bother? My children already know everything after all as soon as they hit adult hood they started giving me advice on how to be happy, how to accept their choices and how to let go. But then I thought about future generations – someone had to warn them about social media traps, fake friends, gold diggers and difference between a need and want. And Who Knows if nothing else, I’ll still have the last word.
Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?
A: From the trenches of motherhood to the ever-evolving madness of modern life, Who Knows? is a witty, heartwarming, and laugh-out-loud take on how everything—literally everything—has changed over the years. Once upon a time, kids played outside instead of scrolling endlessly, fashion had actual fabric, dating involved human interaction (not swiping left on strangers), and good manners weren’t just an endangered species. As a dedicated mother, I’ve navigated it all— raising children, adapting to bizarre new trends, and wondering daily, “Was life always this confusing, or am I just getting older?” With humour and a dash of nostalgia, this book explores how time warps everything—from technology to relationships to the simple art of conversation. Whether you’re a parent, a fashion victim, or just someone trying to survive the chaos, Who Knows? will make you laugh, nod in agreement, and maybe even miss the good old days… before “LOL” replaced actual laughter.
Q: What Does The Title Mean?
A: The title says it all—life, kids, and motherhood never go as planned. Who really knows what’s coming next The title Who Knows signifies the unpredictability of life and the endless surprises it brings. As a mother, I’ve seen how plans change, lessons come from unexpected places, and the future remains a mystery no matter how much we prepare. It reflects the idea that while we may offer guidance and wisdom, ultimately, life unfolds in its own way—sometimes with challenges, sometimes with joy, but always with something to learn. It’s a reminder to embrace uncertainty with faith, humor, and an open heart.
Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?
A: he Past is a Mix of Struggles and Celebrations For every hardship—false accusations, health battles, financial struggles—there were grand celebrations, vacations, Christmas traditions, and nights filled with laughter. Life has a way of balancing itself out.
Q: Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?
A: Life is interesting. It is a learning process. As you go through life, keep a diary and write down all your experience. And when you’re ready, write your own story.
Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?
A: I have so many thoughts flowing through my mind that jotting them down all at one time needs speed and concentration and being a mother, it is difficult
Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?
A: Success is completing your goals starting from smaller to the ultimate.
Q: Tell Us About Your First Published Book? What Was The Journey Like?
A: 21 Gems was my 1st published book. It was a competition where I had to write 1 poem a day for 21 days. I won the prize for this competition. Many of the poems in this book were dedicated to my mother who had just passed away
