Mishka Gupta is a 10-year-old girl filled with an undying love for books, reading, and writing. She has been reading books since she was 5 or maybe even earlier. She found her childhood in books and fantasy lands created in them. Inspired by authors like JK Rowling, Elisabetta Dami, and Rachel Renee Russell, Mishka has written her first book, ‘Sparkle’s Sparkle.’ Filled with magical creatures, good and evil, this book depicts her love for words and the need to share it with the world.

Q: Can You Tell Me About The Book?

A: The book is about a magical place called Unicorn Kingdom, and it is about a ten-year old girl called Sparkle.

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: I learned that, while writing a book, you need to express yourself properly. put your imagination into it. make it inspiring for people.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title- Sparkle’s Sparkle is about a girl called Sparkle, with Sparkle in herself, with her friends, because friends and family are the real sparkle inside you.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: The book I wrote was in their holidays. Next, they will go to school in their fifth year.

Q:How Long Does It Take You To Write A Book?

A: It took 4 months to complete.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: I got ideas them from other books that I read.

Q: When Did You Write Your First Book And How Old Were You?

A: I am ten, and this is my first book.

Q:Do You Have Any Suggestions To Help Others To Become A Better Writer? If So, What Are They?

A: Use your imagination. if you need a break, take a break. Don’t copy others. If you don’t have ideas, think about them, find something that inspires you, and search for ideas.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: People enjoy your book, that’s the most important thing. People should like and enjoy book, it’s okay if you don’t get famous, but for me, success is people enjoying my book, and writing good reviews about it.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: A bit important, but most of it is fantasy, imagination, thoughts and magic.

Q: Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A: Yes. If the book cover is very bad, or childish, or something, people will think the novel is the same way too. Because the cover is based on the book.
