Top 5 Batsmen In IPL 2024 Orange Cap Standings
Virat Kohli: The icon has been terrific through the season and was leading the charge with the bat which allowed RCB to miraculously make it to the playoffs. His consistent performances will be expected in the knockout games coming up.
Ruturaj Gaikwad: Despite not making it to the playoffs, the CSK skipper has been in good touch with he bat despite the added responsibility of taking over MS Dhoni as the captain of the franchise. But this has not weighed him down and seems to go in good stead for the future.
Travis Head: The Australian international might not have had the game he wanted against Punjab but he will continue to back himself in the playoffs and his explosive brand of cricket will prove to be a menace for any opposition.
Riyan Parag: Coming in at number 4 and having domestic performances under his belt, the Assamese youngster has taken his game to a whole new level and RR is finally reaping the rewards for backing him all these years. He will now be tested in the knockout games coming up soon.
Sai Sudharshan: Despite GT having an abysmal season by their lofty standards, the young left-hander has taken his game to another level scoring his season’s best tally so far. The franchise will ideally back him for the future and could serve as a lethal duo with the GT skipper for a long time.

Top 5 Bowlers In IPL 2024 Purple Cap Standings
Harshal Patel: The current leader in the wicket-taking charts has had a fairly poor start by his standards, but he has been able to come back to form and seems to be in good touch with the ball, particularly at the death.
Jasprit Bumrah: Despite MI having a poor outing, Bumrah’s performances with the ball have remained ever so consistent. Batters just choose to play out his overs rather than go after him indicating his potency with the ball.
Arshdeep Singh: The left-arm pacer has 19 wickets to his name making it his best season with the ball. His versatility bowling in all three phases makes him a big threat with the ball which will be a handy asset.
Varun Chakravarthy: The mystery spinner had a difficult start to the tournament but he has found his touch with the ball and has come back to form in no time. His ability to take wickets through the middle overs despite the disadvantageous conditions for the bowlers makes him a big threat.
Tushar Deshpande: The CSK pacer has stepped up on his performances despite key bowlers in his side missing out for various reasons. However, he stuck up to the task and has delivered on many occasions through the season which is something the franchise will look at in the future.
