Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: My inspiration came from the theme of loneliness, as it has been my quiet strength. We often look for companionship outside ourselves, but when we learn to listen within, we discover resilience, a space for our dreams, and a quiet belief that there is no greater friend than oneself. Learning to enjoy your own company is a gift. Theatrically presenting loneliness also allowed me to enjoy the writing process truly.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: I believe the characters discover within themselves a quiet resilience, the strength to fall seven times and rise again. They find happiness and a reason to live fully, with or without loneliness, ultimately discovering strength within it.

Q: How Many Books Have You Written? Which Is Your Favourite?

A: It wouldn’t be fair to name a favourite, as each book has taught me something different. Red became an experiment in exploring writing. The Dervish helped me understand the finer details of the writing and publishing process. Puttakappulu brought a quiet joy along with learning to refine the process, and Loneliness is something I continue to learn from.

Q: How Did Publishing Your First Book Change Your Process Of Writing?

A: Publishing my first book gave me the confidence to continue my writing journey. A sincere collaboration with OrangeBooks Publication allowed me to enjoy the creative process while trusting that the publishing journey would be smooth and efficient. Knowing your work is in good hands gives you the freedom to enjoy writing truly.

Q: Do You Believe A Book Cover Plays An Important Role In The Selling Process?

A: I’ve come to understand that a book cover plays an important role. For me, a good cover tells a story in itself, much like the pages within. It has the ability to move readers and draw them in, encouraging them to explore what lies inside. I find it symbolic of the story rendered.

Q: What Advice Would You Give To Aspiring Authors?

A: Writing may begin as something raw, but always write from the heart. Then, learn to shape and refine it at every stage of the process. Believe in your story, even if no one else does. As I often say, you must work for your book at every stage. I wish the author in you a pen, paper, and faith…
