Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: You know, when I started working on Agentic HR, I faced a lot of unknowns—challenges that nobody was really talking about. I thought, if I’m struggling, many others will too. So, why not create a roadmap? This book is my way of making sure HR professionals don’t start from zero when it comes to Agentic AI.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: The book is a complete guide for HR leaders stepping into the world of Agentic AI. It covers everything—prerequisites, tools, processes, do’s and don’ts, real case studies and even busting the biggest myths around AI in HR.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: The title ‘Unlocking HR: The Rise of Agentic Intelligence in the People Function’ is powerful because it signals a transformation. Agentic AI is not just automation—it’s a 360-degree change in how HR operates, optimizes and influences business outcomes.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: This isn’t a theory. It’s real. Every idea in the book comes from my own hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI in HR. I’ve lived these challenges, experimented with solutions and seen what works—and what doesn’t.

Q: Do You Try More To Be Original Or To Deliver To Readers What They Want?

A: Originality, 100%. This book isn’t a collection of recycled ideas—it’s authentic because it’s based on what I’ve done, learned and seen firsthand. Right now, there’s so much fear and so many myths about AI in HR. My goal was to give clarity, confidence and a practical playbook.

Q: What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: Storytelling. You can have the best content, but if it doesn’t flow like a story, readers won’t stay engaged. I wanted this book to feel like a conversation—taking you from the ‘why’ of Agentic HR to the ‘how,’ and leaving you with a strong sense of possibility.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: Research is everything. It shows you what’s already out there, where the gaps are and what people really need. For this book, I didn’t stop at my own experience—I collaborated, studied trends and even published a research paper with my colleague Kanan Yadav in the International Journal of Strategy and Management on the same topic. That was in August 2025, and it really helped strengthen the foundation for this book.
