Exclusive interview with the author

Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A:I believe that my experiences of life so far are the biggest inspiration for this work. I wanted the world to see the sides of life through my lenses. Just in case, if there is some one out there like me and who needs reassurance, I hope this one helps them to realise that he/she is not alone.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: Book explores different shades of life from different angles. The view of life from a free-spirited teenager, an experienced old man, an adult with a broken heart and a college student.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: I believe that we’re all star dust. We are all part of the single particle which later god replicated over the years. I named it “A Million Pieces” to express that we have a lot of our parts floating around in the world and we need to find at least one of them.

Q: Was The Character Inspired By A Real Person?

A:All the characters mentioned are fictional. None of them are inspired by anyone except for the main character of the book which is made out of my own experiences here and there.

Q: What Do You Think Happened To The Characters After The Book Ended?

A: We will talk about that in the next part, if we could ever get there.

Q:How Many Books Have You Written? Which Is Your Favourite?

A: This is my first work which reached this far. I have written one during my college days which was later used to make paper boats by my room mates.

Q:What, In Your Opinion, Are The Most Important Elements Of Good Writing?

A: I work with a single motto. If a 8th standard student picks up your book, he/she should be able to read it and understand the words. Understanding the plot and the essence of it is a different story but should be able to finish reading the book without major blocks.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: Research is the key for me while writing.

Q: What Is The Most Difficult Part About Writing For You?

A: Overcoming self-doubt and ensuring that the words on the page match the vision in my mind is a continuous journey.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: Research serves as the foundation for authenticity in storytelling. While imagination fuels the narrative, research ensures that details are accurate and enhance the reader’s immersion.
