Serie A champions Napoli coasted to a 2-0 win at Sassuolo on Saturday, while AC Milan were upset by Cremonese as the travelling side picked up a 2-1 win on the road at the famous San Siro.
Scott McTominay and Kevin De Bruyne were on target for the Naples-based side, while strikes from Federico Baschirotto and Federico Bonazzoli helped Cremonese pip Milan, who netted a consolation through Strahinja Pavlovic.
