With a background in mechanical engineering and an MBA in marketing and sales, she has spent nearly a decade navigating the corporate world. Q: What Inspired You To Write This Book?

A: The day to day life of every human I know of, where they had to fake a smile or silence, just to keep the peace. I have seen people, who had a ton of questions on the status que, but didn’t voice them, to avoid getting into a tough conversation. That’s when I started studying their phycological patterns, and how it affected their self worth.

Q: Can You Tell Us About The Book?

A: This book speaks about the lasting impact some of the subtle comments have. How these impact Psychologically, how that makes people hides their true self from themselves. And book speaks about the breaking point, and what they would have to expect to face, how difficult it is going to be post breaking point, how to navigate through the process. Because after this phase, comes self acceptance and peace. That’s when the external comments do not impact the peace that’s comes from within.

Q: What Does The Title Mean?

A: It’s my way of saying, “Being difficult isn’t a flaw , it’s an honour. A recognition for you settling your boundaries strong.”

Q: What Did You Learn When Writing The Book?

A: Well, that’s a nice question. When I was putting my experiences on the paper, I learnt that this book is not just for today’s women, it’s for women of all ages, infact, all men too. I noticed those subtle comments, gestures, eye roles all around me, not always directed to one person, but to everyone around. While we are working on ourselves, we also need to understand how our word and actions affect others. This book thought me to be respectful towards not just my boundaries, but to everyone else’s as well, even those who would be spectators, not just the receivers.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Information Or Ideas For Your Books?

A: The day to day life of people around me was the main source of information and ideas for this book.

Q: What Does Success Mean To You? What Is The Definition Of Success?

A: Success means everything. For me, success is being able to sleep peacefully at night, enjoying every bite of food I take; success for me is when my near and dear and me are being our authentic selves and enjoying every single moment together.

Q: How Important Is Research To You When Writing A Book?

A: It is the core of the book. Without a properly executed research, the results might not be to the point. And that will impact every reader of the book.

Q: Where Do You Get Your Greatest Ideas For Writing?

A: From life… Mine, family members’, friends’, colleagues’, acquaintances’ infact, even some strangers I shared a journey with.
